We are one of the top 3 green coffee merchandizers worldwide.

We work with certification and verification programs as 4C, CAFE Practices, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ certified, Fairtrade and Organic.

We continue to expand our geographical sourcing footprint, investment in research, marketing and sustainability reach.

Having established our position as a leading multinational company exporter in Vietnam and Colombia, we have further expanded in Brazil, Indonesia, India and Honduras.

About Coffee

The two main species of coffee are Arabica and Robusta.  Arabica coffee makes up the bulk of world production and is grown mainly at higher altitudes in the tropical and temperate regions of the Western hemisphere. Brazil is the world’s largest producer of Arabica coffee.

Arabica coffee is milder, more aromatic and contains less caffeine than Robusta coffee.

Robusta coffees are produced largely at lower altitudes in the tropical areas of Asia and Africa. Vietnam is the world’s largest producer.

Once harvested, coffee cherries are dried, hulled, cleaned, and color-sorted. The resulting green coffee beans are prepared for export markets. They are subsequently sold to roasters for use in roast and ground blends, decaffeinated blends or for the manufacture of instant coffee.

Unlike many other agricultural commodities, coffee is a perennial crop as opposed to an annually planted crop. Trees typically take three years to commence production and then continue to yield for several years thereafter.

Brazil is the world’s leading producer of coffee, followed by Vietnam, Indonesia and Colombia. The EU (as a region) consumes the largest amount of coffee, followed by the US, Brazil and Japan.

Our strengths in Coffee

We are active in all major coffee producing areas, with offices in Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, India, Indonesia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Honduras. We also have representation in Ethiopia.

We serve our customers from regional trading centers in Geneva (Switzerland), Santos (Brazil), Wilton (US), Nairobi (Kenya) and Singapore, and operate a fully integrated global supply chain managing the flow of coffee from source to destination. Our assets include processing, warehousing and logistic facilities.

We have successfully continued to increase our origin footprint as well as in-country penetration and have reinforced our marketing team to build closer relationships with the roasting community.

Our supply chain expansion program has successfully enabled us to mitigate the threat of a diminishing local supplier base, address the increased demand for roaster-specific grades as well as establish, and thereby meet, the growing need for traceable and sustainable supply chains.  We are contributing to sustainability developments across the industry in collaboration with 4C Association, UTZ, Rainforest Alliance, CAFE Practices and Fairtrade Certification program.
