Buenos\nAires<\/strong>, Argentina<\/strong>,\nAugust 19, 2020 – Louis\nDreyfus Company (LDC) announced today its agreement with Bind Garant\u00edas SGR\n(Bind Garant\u00edas), Grupo Bind\u2019s Reciprocal Guarantee Company, to facilitate\naccess to credit for its customers through a simple digital platform, and thus\nreinforce its commitment to supporting agricultural producers during their\nproductive cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement will allow producers to continue\nbuying LDC inputs – Macro Seed<\/em> seeds,\nMacro Protect<\/em> crop protection\nproducts and Macro Fertil<\/em> fertilizers\n– through deferred payment check discounts in the stock market, up to a sum in\npesos equivalent to US$60,000, payable after the harvest or up to 270 days, enabling\nthem to adapt these commitments to their business cash flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe initiative aims to provide financial\nrelief to local producers, meeting their investment and cash flow needs over a\nlonger term. It is also a very timely solution in today\u2019s uncertain context with\nregard to access to competitive financing options,\u201d explains Mat\u00edas Trotta, LDC\u2019s\nRegional Fertilizers and Inputs Commercial Manager for South & West Latin\nAmerica. \u201cWe worked to make online applications as smooth as possible, with\nonline documents that are quick and easy to complete, and to ensure that applicants\nreceive an immediate response through the platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
