Summary
• Responsible for executing grains & oilseeds trading contracts locally or as import/ export by maintaining an active dialogue with suppliers, buyers, storage, and logistics providers.
• Invoicing and storage releases both with trade counterparts and logistics providers.
• Good understanding of Turkish logistics players and practices (warehousing and trucking) but also able to work with import/export matters relating to free zones and bonded warehouses.
• Tracking the necessary documents required.
• Assist on LC issuance.
• Assist on insurance issuance.
• Updates on Atlas, Iris, MDM etc.
• Contract, LOI, commission invoices issuance.
• Daily execution between trade team, customers, custom agents, and vessel agents.
• Tracking shipping instructions, prepayments, and payments.
• Reconciling weights, quality, and payable on a daily basis.
• Preparing Monthly Stock updates for Accounting/Insurance.
• Dealing with minor quality/quantity issues.
• Keeping track of inventories from a quantity and quality standpoint.
• Implementing a warehousing strategy based on the trading requirements.
• Being able to negotiate rates and fees with logistic providers.
• Liaising with Geneva as cases may be on the above topics.
• Present documents to ensure customs clearance, ensure delivery to storage, and further to customer
• Coordinate with agents and customers on imports by vessels
• Assist on imports or export tenders
• 3-5 years previous experience in logistics/ transportation/ customs and import/ export areas
• Effective communication with third parties and all internal points (platform and region),
• Good aptitude for numbers, analysis, and excellent attention to detail
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Experience to work with an IT integrated software
• Microsoft Office capabilities
• English (Fluent)
• Turkish (Fluent)

Along with the below listed responsibilities, the employee should conduct any other business related to the function as required by her or his supervisor.
