The Grains and Oilseeds (G&O) Platform is longest standing business in LDC. The Platform have an international presence in the world’s major producing and consuming regions and originate, handle, store, transform and merchandize products across the spectrum of Grains and Oilseeds products. Palm oil is one of the major product line under G&O Platform with strong asset and trading focus in Asia region.
Main Responsibilities
| Main Responsibilities |
- Cash trading / merchandising of G&O products (corn, wheat, SBM, soybeans amongst others), in coordination with rest of the team / product lines in Asia and globally.
- Take ownership of a specific flow (product/destination(s)), pricing, negotiation of trades, overview and optimization of executions, and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Develop and strengthen commercial relationships / partnerships with LDC existing and potential customers
- Analyze, synthetize and disseminate to relevant parties market/customer/activity information
- Support LDC growth in the region by proposing / identifying business development & investment opportunities
- Take ownership of a specific flow (product/destination(s)), pricing, negotiation of trades, overview and optimization of executions, and coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Develop and strengthen commercial relationships / partnerships with LDC existing and potential customers
- Analyze, synthetize and disseminate to relevant parties market/customer/activity information
- Support LDC growth in the region by proposing / identifying business development & investment opportunities
Experiences

• Min. 3-5 Years in agribusiness or related industry (commodities, feed, flour, food etc.) in SEA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to prioritize.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and to take initiative; proactive attitude toward problems.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere. Flexibility on working time.
• Entrepreneurial & humble mindset.
• Prior experience in commodities trading / food/feed industries dealing with the region (Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to prioritize.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and to take initiative; proactive attitude toward problems.
