The Global Learning & Development Lead will become a key part of LDC’s global Center of Expertise for Talent Management & Learning. The role will be responsible for designing and maintaining an effective strategy, framework and set of tools for Learning and Development globally, and for providing expert support to HR colleagues and internal customers around the world. This role could be based in Singapore, Geneva Switzerland, Lyon France or Wilton, Connecticut
• Propose, promote and deliver effective L&D strategies to support LDC’s regional and business platform’s operations; manage the L&D function’s budget.
• Coordinate or provide direct response to complex business requests in the learning area: analyze, design and implement creative development solutions tailored to client needs and company strategy.
• Lead the roll out of key corporate programs (Leadership Academy, Trading Academy) and monitor the implementation and impact of other programs not directly under her/his lead; connect with HR peers to produce relevant and actionable talent data insights
• Provide deep content expertise, guidance and direction to other professionals in the learning area:  act in a consulting and/or advisory capacity as needed; in particular, partner with global HRBPs to design and build functional academies or equivalent training solutions
• Provide strategic recommendations on the use of learning technologies / digital tools to enhance innovative, effective learning experiences to our customers; manage technology solutions implementation and on-going monitoring.
• Identify world-class providers for new programs in line with agreed learning objectives, negotiate agreements and establish productive partnerships with all third parties (education providers, technology solutions providers, content providers, etc.).
• Work with regional teams & CoE Specialists to prepare and conduct process/program improvement initiatives.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development, Leadership and Organizational development.
• Expertise designing, developing and delivering multi-country learning programs and solutions, including delivery of sophisticated solutions to senior managers and executives
• Demonstrated project management, planning and facilitation skills, with high quality standards
• Flexible mindset, solution oriented and able to deliver results in a field that is not fully structured or formalized.
• Focused on customer value and able to build effective partnerships with demanding customers
• Proven capability to identify and solve tactical issues involving training across varied regions and business platforms
• Strong presentation and communication skill and ability to inspire others.
• Windows Office fluent, and specifically with Power Point;
• Experience with functional administration of an LMS/LXP platform a plus.
• Experience managing budgets and vendors
• Relevant multi-national, sector experience will be considered as beneficial.
