Leadership and team are recognized in international awards<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are proud\nthat our Head of Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing & Cross-border Tax Planning\nfor LDC in Brazil, Fernanda Amaral<\/strong>,\nand her team were winners at ITR\n(International Tax Review) Americas Tax Awards 2020<\/a>, as best leaders<\/strong> and best team<\/strong> in Transfer Pricing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The international\naward, which took place on September 22 in a virtual way, recognizes the\nperformance of the best professionals in the tax area, and is promoted by International Tax Review (ITR)<\/a>,\none of the most respected international publications in the area. Professionals\nare nominated for the award after a thorough survey of executives from law\nfirms and companies from various countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA great honor and satisfaction to have received this recognition from colleagues in the tax area and from ITR! The term\n\u201ctransfer pricing\u201d is used to refer to the fiscal rules for control over\ncommercial transactions carried out between companies of the same group,\nheadquartered in different countries or jurisdictions, as is the case with LDC.\nThe objective is to try to prevent over-invoicing in imports or under-invoicing\nin exports, so that there is profit to be taxed in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
