Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash management function, monitor cash flow movements, ensure all accurate and timely funding allocation (including external borrowing and intercompany loans).
- Ensure all surplus cash are utilized in an efficient manner to reduce financing cost or allocate surplus cash with banks that are on higher deposit interest yield to maximum the deposit interest return.
- Ensure timely and accurate automated execution of settlements via company Treasury Management System.
- Resolve irregularities and assisting to resolve any accounting discrepancies pertaining to treasury-related entries.
- Responsible for keeping proper daily record for all cash management function and all funding activities transactions.
- Generate accurate and timely daily and monthly reporting.
- Assist in design and implementation of treasury aspects of Management Information System.
- Provide trade finance support to trading desks to sell down counterpart / bank / country risks.
- Any other duties as required
Experiences:
- At least 4-5 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of trade finance instruments (Bill Collection, Standby Credit, Documentary Credit, Performance Bond)
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc):
- Professional, self-motivated, “hands-on”
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle conditions of uncertainty
- Ability to priorities tasks and respond quickly to spot issues
- Proficient in use of technology particularly Excel and Word, fast learner of other systems
- Good communication / interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Highly self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Academics:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business Management or equivalent
