Main Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with vessel owners/masters/charterers, trading team and other relevant parties.
- Understanding of Stowage Plan optimization
- Bunkering Optimization ensure close collaboration with bunker desk to successfully manage bunker planning
- Understanding principles of Voyage Profit & Loss
- Resolve claims with support of the legal team
- Manage assigned external relations with customers and / or vendors
- Nurture a positive working relationship with the various stakeholders
- Support the less experienced team members
- Contribute to process and practices improvements
- Support the commercial team
Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience operating bulkers on Time Charter
- Experience at Sea or with a shipowners would be an advantage
Education:
- University degree in Shipping
Languages:
- Fluency in English is a must
Soft skills:
- An interest in and aptitude for people management
- Customer focused and relationship building with key accounts (Internal Customers and ship owners)
- Accountability and strong sense of ownership, team play and collaboration.
- Ability working to tight time constraints
- Personal drive and the ability to motivate others
- Innovative, adaptable, flexible
- Good verbal and written communication
