About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trader to join our Global Markets team, specializing in interest rates and credit within the Commodity Trading sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing portfolios in emerging markets and extensive experience with various financial instruments across multiple regions. Previous portfolio manager position is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage trades in interest rate swaps, swaptions, cash bonds, and local currency corporate bonds.
- Develop and implement trading strategies for interest rate products in Asia, CEE, and Latam regions.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities and manage risk.
- Engage in cross-currency swaps, basis trading, and relative value strategies in FX forwards.
- Monitor and analyze financial markets to provide insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other traders and departments to optimize trading strategies and performance.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Experience
Experience |
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager in Emerging Markets.
- Proven experience with interest rate swaps in Asia, CEE, and Latam.
- Expertise in interest rate swaptions in Mexico, South Africa, and Korea.
- Strong background in cash bonds in Latam, CEE, and Asia.
- Experience with local currency corporate bonds in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and South Africa.
- Proficiency in cross-currency swaps, basis trading, and relative value in FX forwards in Asia, CEE, and Latam.
- Local and global experience in fixed income markets in Latam and Central America (Paraguay, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Jamaica, Guatemala, Costa Rica).
- Knowledge of FX and FX options in all liquid EM and G10 currencies.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM.
- Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software.
