The Execution Coordinator in Cotton Platform is a position for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and responsible individual who will be part of LDC’s rapidly growing Turkish operation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be an integral part of building and molding our Turkish operation trajectory. An exciting challenge for those who don’t shy away from obstacles or complexity and find innovative customer-centric solutions to continue to grow and solidify a position at the forefront of the market.

This is an execution and coordination role. This position will need to convey instructions regarding the documentation, transport, and storage of goods for national/international deliveries in containers and trucks. Always in contact with suppliers, customers, shipping companies, agents, warehouses, customs agents, and port terminals. Good communication skills both internally and externally are expected.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Follow up on cotton contracts execution, domestically or imports/exports;
  • Release of goods to recipients, invoicing, payment control;
  • Managing deliveries from warehouse/port/suppliers to customers;
  • Managing the flow of numerous documents (electronic and paper);
  • Reconciling weights and payables on a daily basis;
  • Insurance of goods/warehouses/trucks;
  • Following and tracking changes in legal and customs regulations;
  • Contact with the execution/logistics team in Geneva, Memphis, Beijing and Sao Paulo;
  • Participation in the creation of drafts of documents (contracts), internal documents, and Letters of Credit;
  • Follow up on shipment instructions, prepayments, and bookings.

 

    Experience: 5 - 7 years

    Knowledge: on domestic and import/export execution flows and on operation management.

    Education: diploma or degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline.

    Languages: fluent in English and Turkish

    Systems: Excel and others from MS Office.

    Other skills (Computer Skills, etc.)

    • Ability to quickly adapt to changes;
    • Ability to work independently and remotely with a high level of commitment and engagement;
    • Data-driven with attention to detail;
    • Highly disciplined and rigorous in reporting and controlling business metrics;
    • Strong coordination skills in an international environment;
    • Team player who is pro-active and forward-thinking;
    • Good communication skills.
