Rotterdam, The Netherlands<\/strong>, March 13, 2026 \u2013 Louis Dreyfus Company B.V. (LDC) announced today the appointment of Mr. S\u00e9bastien Landerretche as the Group\u2019s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 18, 2026 and based in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Landerretche joined the Group in 2004, leading global ocean freight research, based in China. He subsequently held several key leadership roles based in Singapore, including Regional Head of Oilseeds and Regional Head of Freight for Asia, until his appointment as Global Head of Freight in 2015, based in Switzerland. Prior to LDC, S\u00e9bastien worked in financial controlling positions at EDF <\/em>and RSM<\/em>, in China. He graduated from ESSEC Business School<\/em>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Gelchie, LDC\u2019s Chief Executive Officer said, \u201cI am confident that S\u00e9bastien\u2019s extensive experience and deep understanding of our business will ensure strong leadership moving forward, driving our financial strategy in line with LDC\u2019s strategic growth plans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move follows the unexpected passing at the end of December 2025 of LDC\u2019s previous CFO, Patrick Treuer, who was succeeded by Nigel Mamalis as Interim CFO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Gelchie added, \u201cI am grateful for Nigel\u2019s leadership and support, which have been invaluable to LDC and our global Finance teams in this difficult moment, ensuring stability and continuity throughout the transition. I look forward to continued collaboration with Nigel in his previous capacity as an external Advisor to the Group.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e9bastien Landerretche is succeeded by Mr. Jean-Romain Roig as Global Head of Freight, based in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
