You will be covering the role of Software Architect for Agri-commodities Sustainability and Traceability Data Solutions.
Missions:
Reporting to the Program Manager (Sustainability & Traceability), located in France, your main responsibilities will be:
- Review/Approve the analysis for new features implementations.
- Recommend architectural evolution of the software.
- Coach and Mentors dev teams.
- Lead the dev teams for 2 scrum teams (Sustainability product & Traceability Product).
- Propose architecture evolution (front and back) with lead DEV from each team.
- Work closely with Proxy Product owners / business to validate technical architecture evolutions.
- Document key evolutions.
- Manage relationship with vendors’ resources and ensure to get expected performance from them.
- Keep up to date on technology trend to leverage meaningful solutions.
- Interact with other architects within LDC for share and implement ideas.
- Participate in LDC EA discussions.
- Understand and follow guidelines from security, networking and infra cloud teams.
Experience
Experience |
Required experience:
- 5+ years as a Software architect, Lead Dev or Senior Dev.
- Previous experience in logistics and supply chain management is a strong plus.
- Higher Education in IT
Required hard skills:
- Capable to lead by example core back-end implementation.
- Knowledge of Entity framework and code first approach.
- strong knowledge of micro services and saga.
- UML methodology or similar modeling language.
- Strong structured approach to document and drive standards for dev teams.
- Speaks English. Master’s degree in computer science.
- C# or Java strong skills, .NET knowledge
- Understanding of CICD and interactions with GCP, AWS or Azure
- Trusted IT leader. Motivated and delivery driven in an agile context.
Required soft skills:
- Curious to learn new technologies or patterns.
- Ability to balance short term and long-term evolutions.
- Excellent teamwork, communication & collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Commodity Trading is a plus.
Languages:
- English fluent both oral and written
