Work with Financial Reporting Group to report financial performance monthly to management and the consolidation of the parent. Reconcile intercompany transactions with affiliates and perform general accounting functions as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Assist with month close process in a timely matter.
- Perform tasks to update the general ledger for daily financial activity.
- Prepare budgets annually for each warehouse location.
- Analyze monthly budget to actual variances and prepare comments.
- Analyze quarterly changes year over year and prepare presentation.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
- Communicate with various levels of management throughout the company.
- Perform all assigned responsibilities in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Perform all related responsibilities as required.

Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
Experience
Two years corporate accounting experience/public accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
- Intermediate skillset in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and Power BI.
- SAP software experience preferred.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees as well as outside parties.
- Self-directed with a high sense of urgency and strong bias for action in a highly dynamic and demanding work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize workloads and perform multiple tasks that might have conflicting priorities.
- Personal honesty, competence and integrity in functional leadership in accounting processes, tools and techniques.
