Role overview:

This newly created role will contribute in shaping the way our business continues to develop and ensure we are maximizing our Coffee origination capabilities in Asia. In this role you will lead and execute our strategic approach to develop our presence in domestic and other international markets, grow sales channels for our commercial, premium, specialty green coffees as well as potentially soluble coffee.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop domestic and international sales and marketing channels for green and soluble coffees.
  • Fully client focused, develop own client portfolio across commercial, premium, specialty green and potentially soluble coffee segments.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Identify new sales leads, foster new clients, and achieve sales goals while effectively managing counter party risks.
  • Monitor market trends, market behavior & pattern, competitor activities, identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing customized solutions and resolving customer complaints effectively to become the partner of choice for clients.
  • Represent company at the trade shows and actively promote LDC brand & coffee products.
  • Work in close coordination with the quality control team to develop products that meet customer expectations.
  • Provide regular reports on performance, opportunities, and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies.
  • Conduct all business activities in a responsible and ethical manner following guidelines of the company.

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in green coffee or soluble coffee sales & marketing in Asia.

Other Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills and self-initiative are necessary.
  • Understanding of green coffee quality basics and domestic market trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.   

Languages:

  • Good communications skills in English & Vietnamese.
