Our Strengths in Russia
We have been exporting grain from Russia for over 150 years. Wheat, corn and barley exports are LDC’s core activities in the country, where we are among the leading grain exporters with annual export volumes of between 1.5 and 3 million MT on average.
We operate a network of seven inland silos, with a collective storage capacity of about 820,000 tons, as well as a grain terminal in Azov, able to store up to 50,000 tons of grains. Inaugurated in 2017, the terminal has a total storage capacity of 50 KMT distributed in 10 vertical silos and a total thruput capacity of 700 MTH.
Committed to Sustainability
In addition to our strong merchandizing capabilities, growing product portfolio and reputation for reliability and integrity, our leading position in grains and oilseeds is also connected with our commitment to responsible sourcing, traceable supply chains and sustainable business practices globally.
Increasing traceability in our palm and soy operations is also central to our sustainability efforts, to encourage responsible land use and non-conversion of native vegetation for soy and palm cultivation.
