Why Does it Matter?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s widely acknowledged that most workplace accidents can be prevented through stringent safety protocols and adherence to best practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2023, LDC invested significantly in risk mitigation and safety enhancements, with a focus on improving process safety and increasingly leveraging technology and automation to enhance safety measures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We also understand that ensuring a zero-accident workplace requires continual vigilance and commitment to responsible behaviors – from everyone. And that\u2019s where our Safety, Health & Environment (or SHE) teams come into their own!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Safety risks vary across our operations, and LDC\u2019s SHE teams play a critical role in identifying hazards and minimizing risks in each work location.
