(LDC) launched today its corporate venture capital program, \u2018LDC Innovations\u2019, as an essential element in LDC\u2019s strategic plans to reinforce its position as a key value chain participant.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis program is another positive step in our strategic growth plans, as part of which we are investing in innovations and technologies that can help meet increasing global demand for healthy, nutritious products that are responsibly sourced and produced,\u201d said Ian McIntosh, LDC\u2019s Chief Executive Officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOver the coming months, we will invest in early-stage companies with the potential to transform the food and agriculture industries.
