Within the global DT&A (Digital Technology & Analytics) organization, we offer opportunities to contribute to strategic projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

 

Our DT&A Front Office team is looking for a Regional Business Analyst to join the EMEA region, based in Sofia.

In this role, you will drive business process transformation and support strategic projects and rollouts for our International Trade & Execution Front Office platform (Atlas Multiplatform), including modernization initiatives across the region.

 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Own one or more functional streams and support junior Business Analysts.
  • Assess requirements within the business process landscape and Core Model.
  • Maintain accurate process and project documentation.
  • Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to support solution design and delivery.
  • Provide business support during projects and post go-live activities.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support project planning, scope definition, resource estimation, and timelines.
  • Assist with testing, data migration, change management, and user adoption activities.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Understand regional and global business priorities and support EMEA Front Office strategy.
  • Analyze business needs and align local requirements with core solutions where possible.
  • Coordinate with Global and Regional IT teams and other stakeholders.
  • Support regional change management initiatives.
  • Ensure deliverables are properly documented.
  • Support legacy-to-target system data migration activities.
  • Participate in deployment and rollout projects.

More specifically oversee:

  • Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Functional Specifications: Review and refine specifications with development teams.
  • Testing: Support business users during test cycles.
  • Support: Investigate and prioritize incidents and business issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps and recommend enhancements.
  • Data Management: Support data migration and related processes.
  • Deployment: Support system configuration, user training, and hypercare activities.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience in finance-related business analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial processes and best practices.
  • Experience in commodities trading, inventory, or logistics is an advantage.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio.
  • Business Analysis certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise business systems and related technologies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional project environments.
  • Ability to contribute across project delivery activities and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience building effective relationships across business and IT teams.

Knowledge, Technical & Functional Skills

  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, user story writing, and backlog management.
  • Understanding of incident management and process improvement.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and API/data integration concepts is an advantage.
  • Fluent English required; French is a plus.
