  • Regulatory Compliance – Monitor compliance with applicable SHE regulations, permits, and legal requirements, and liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders on SHE-related matters.
  • SHE Management System – Implement and maintain the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System, and ensure compliance with LDC SHE policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment & Hazard Control – Coordinate SHE risk assessments to identify potential hazards, and develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions to reduce SHE risks.
  • Incident Reporting & Investigation – Lead the reporting and investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and ensure root cause analyses are completed and corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Training & Awareness – Conduct SHE inductions, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and training programs, and ensure employees and contractors receive the necessary SHE  training and competency development.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Response – Maintain emergency response plans, emergency equipment, and emergency drills, and coordinate emergency response activities to improve site preparedness.
  • Contractor Safety Management – Ensure contractors comply with SHE requirements before and during work execution and monitor high-risk activities and contractor performance regarding SHE compliance.
  • Fire Prevention & Protection – Develop, implement, and maintain fire prevention and fire protection programs. Coordinate inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, hydrants, fire pumps, sprinklers, and portable fire extinguishers, and ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations and standards.
  • SHE Leadership & Culture – Promote a positive SHE culture through employee engagement and visible leadership, and support SHE committee meetings, management walks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Environmental Management – Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company environmental standards. Coordinate environmental monitoring programs, waste management, wastewater treatment, air emission control, Comply with PROPER requirement and environmental reporting to Indonesia authority system such as SIMPEL , SPEED and Amdalnet.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety (K3) or related disciplines from a reputable university.

  • Environmental certification is preferred. Additional certifications such as AK3 Umum, SMK3 Internal Auditor, ISO 45001, Internal Auditor ISO 14001, Fire Safety or other SHE-related certifications will be an advantage

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) roles within manufacturing, industrial processing, agribusiness, FMCG, chemical, or related sectors (preferably in chemical manufacturing).

  • Proven end-to-end operational SHE experience, with a strong focus and heavy background in Environmental management, sustainability, and compliance.

Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of Indonesian SHE (especially environmental) regulations, combined with hands-on experience executing comprehensive environmental compliance programs, including PROPER, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Hazardous Waste management, air emission controls, and risk management practices.

  • Proficient in government environmental reporting systems (e.g., SIMPEL).

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to cultivate a strong safety culture and drive environmental initiatives.

  • Proactive, agile, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
