Main responsibilities:
• Execute import/export operations from order placement to final delivery, including documentation and customs clearance, ensuring compliance withinternational trade regulations.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues (Containerized and Bulk) by working closely with International and Domestic Suppliers, Buyers, Freight Forwarders, Port authorities and Clearing Agents.
• Analyze goods classification, ensuring accurate allocation of HS codes for accurate valuation and origin declarations in compliance with trade regulations.
• Prepare and review trade documentation in accordance with respective Incoterms, commercial / trade terms and country-specific regulations.
• Check all documents for correctness such as sales tax calculation, transport documentation procedures such as road transport permits/way-bills, carrier’s responsibilities, dispatch documentation, etc.
• Checking service providers bills against the work order and to verify the same for correctness/authenticity for the services rendered. Timely Closure of accruals.
• Reviewing contracts / legal documents regarding terms, scope, expiry, etc. and amending as per the regulatory/ business/ legal needs.
• Prepare reports daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly/yearly.
• Know-how of trade execution cycle and related documentation including but not limited to Trade Confirmations, Sales / Purchase Contracts, Proforma invoice, Fixation Note, Addendums, Novation Agreements, Letter of Credit, Bank Contract, Import permit, Documentary / Shipping instructions for preparation of Shipping documents, Commercial invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading , Certificate of origin, Surveyor report, Phytosanitary certificate, Landing report, SWIFT codes, Lay-time, Demurrage, Dispatch, Detention, Delivery Order, Release order, Washout-out, Roll-over, Stock reconciliation, and related matters
Experience

- Master's degree in Business, preferably with a major in Finance or Supply Chain Management.
- 1 - 3 years in International Trade execution preferably Agri commodities (Cotton, Wheat, Palm, Soybean, Corn, Pulses, Chickpeas etc.)
