Development and Implementation of Security Strategies:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional security strategies that align with LDC’s global security policies and overall business objectives.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure the effective implementation of security programs and policies across all facilities in the region, adapting global guidelines to local contexts.

Risk Management and Threat Assessment:

  • Risk Assessments: Conduct regular and thorough risk and threat assessments specific to the region, identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Mitigation Plans: Develop and implement robust mitigation plans to address identified risks.
  • Security Audits: Collaborate with local security teams to perform regular security audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Physical Security Oversight: Oversee regional physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance systems, perimeter security, and security personnel, ensuring robust protection of company facilities and properties.

Incident Response and Crisis Management:

  • Incident Leadership: Lead regional incident response efforts, coordinating actions during security incidents to minimize impact.
  • Crisis Management Plans: Develop, maintain, and regularly update crisis management plans tailored to the region’s specific risks.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and internal teams to manage and resolve incidents effectively.
  • Executive Protection: Manage regional executive protection programs for key personnel, including travel security arrangements, close protection services, and crisis management support during high-risk assignments.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international security regulations and standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular security reports to the Global Head of Security, detailing incidents, trends, and security KPI´s.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor security-related incidents and trends within the region to identify emerging threats and areas for improvement.

Team Management and Training:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop regional security teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Training Programs: Develop and conduct comprehensive security training programs for employees and security personnel to enhance their capabilities and awareness.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to security team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Internal Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees, to ensure security measures are understood and supported.
  • External Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, security agencies, and other relevant external entities.
  • Representation: Represent LDC at regional security forums, industry events, and in interactions with external stakeholders to promote and enhance the company’s security posture.

Technological Advancements:

  • Monitor emerging security technologies, trends, and threats within the region, recommending and implementing innovative security solutions and improvements.

Resource Management:

  • Manage regional security budgets, resources, and expenditures effectively, ensuring optimal use of funds to achieve security objectives.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a security role, preferably in an international corporate environment.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing security teams and implementing security programs at a regional level.

Languages:

  • English (Fluent)

Work Environment:

  • Travel: This position requires frequent travel within the region to oversee security operations and conduct assessments.
