Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
1. Coordination with Parties
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure alignment on shipping schedules and requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales) and external partners to coordinate logistics activities.
- Problem-Solving: Address any logistical issues that arise, such as delays or discrepancies, and facilitate quick resolutions.
2. Document Management
- Documentation Preparation: Ensure all necessary shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of quality) are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
- Compliance : Verify that all documents meet regulatory and compliance requirements specific to grain commodities.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all logistics-related documents for future reference and audits.
3. Invoice Management
- Invoice Processing: Ensure that invoices from service providers (e.g., freight forwarders, carriers) are received, reviewed, and approved promptly.
- Timely Booking: Coordinate with the finance team to ensure that invoices are booked on time to maintain cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Address any discrepancies between invoices and actual services rendered, working with both the service provider and internal teams to resolve issues.
4. Timely Booking and Scheduling
- Scheduling Shipments: Develop and manage schedules for grain transportation, ensuring timely delivery according to customer demands.
- Booking Arrangements: Make timely bookings with carriers and logistics providers to secure transportation capacity.
- Monitoring: Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders on the status of deliveries.

- Basic Computer Skills like – MS office, Web Browsing, Email & using of Clouds etc.
- Effective Communication skills.
