In 2018, LDC initiated a comprehensive transformation of its back-office functions—including Accounting, Controlling, Reporting, Procurement, and Industry—centered around SAP S/4HANA and ARIBA. This global rollout continues through 2028, followed by ongoing improvement initiatives.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Process Owner Lead to oversee below end-to-end (E2E) finance process:
- Inventory, Industry & Controlling
This role is pivotal in supporting LDC’s Finance Transformation program by ensuring process excellence, tool efficiency, and organizational alignment across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert and guardian of Group-wide finance processes and standards
- Support country-level implementations while balancing local needs with global requirements
- Lead automation and digitalization of industry, controlling processes and reports
- Provide ongoing support to live countries, ensuring continuous improvement and user satisfaction
- Define, document, and maintain CORE model and best practices
- Challenge and review live countries’s and Project rollout change requests
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, FPSO colleagues, and DT&A teams to ensure consistent process execution.
- Own the end-to-end industry controlling processes (e.g., cost center planning, project accounting, production cost controlling, variance analysis, standard costing).
- Support change management, training, and onboarding activities related to process changes.
- Drive ad-hoc projects to enhance BOLD capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally combining:
- Strong operational finance and accounting expertise
- Deep understanding of cost center accounting, project accounting, industry and overhead budgeting and reporting (eg: Master data such as Cost Center, WBS, Profit Center, Activity type…, variance & profitability analysis)
- Deep understanding of production costing (eg: BOM, Resource, activity type, splitting structure, standard cost calculation…), ideally within SAP S/4HANA
- Familiarity with inventory management (commodity inventory and non-commercial commodity inventory) and supply chain management is a plus
- Active involvement in finance transformation projects (internal or external) ex: AMOA, Functional Business Lead, Process Owner
- Proven ability to work in project mode, from individual contributor to leadership roles
- Experience in international and multicultural environments
- Process design and IT tool implementation (interface experience is a plus)
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
