We are looking for an experienced business analyst who is having strong analytical skills and good understanding of business process and analyze existing processes, requirements, document gaps with existing functionalities, and generally facilitate the implementation of the system with minimal business impact.

Your objectives will be to ensure that the system meets business requirements; that users are trained and use the system correctly; and that support is delivered in a pro-active and efficient manner.

In this position, you would:

  • Ensure that system support is available to the user community at agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Link with 2nd 3rd level of support whenever required, follow-up and loop back with the internal customer.
  • Ensure that the system implemented meets business requirements; that users are trained and use the system correctly; and that support is delivered in a pro-active and efficient manner.
  • Work as part of the Regional Support Team, interacting closely with the Regional Project Manager, other Business Analysts, and Global IT teams.
  • Collaborate with trading, execution, finance operations to identify, develop, and implement best practices and business processes in order to drive business transformation. 
  • Understanding and documenting current business processes
  • Conducting gaps analyses between the as-is and to-be processes, identifying gaps with existing system functionalities, reports, and controls
  • Running workshops to identify current and best-practice procedures
  • Running training workshops with key stakeholders and end users
  • Understand system functionalities and be able to recommend solutions and improvements
  • Document functional specifications and work closely with the Regional + Global teams to facilitate developments.
  • Act as first line support to the business in case of issues during project and second line support post go-live
  • Contribute to regular project and business meetings, provide progress updates, report issues and risks.
  • Help to develop and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Support the PM throughout the project (e.g. defining scope, estimating resource requirements, timelines).
  • Own and groom the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Prioritize stories based on business value, dependencies, and sprint goals.
  • Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria following INVEST principles.
  • Work closely with developers and testers to clarify requirements and ensure mutual understanding.
  • Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders during the sprint.
  • 3+ years minimum as a Support/Business Analyst.
  • Degree in IT or related discipline with exposure commodity trading or accounting or logistics.
