We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Execution and Logistics Officer for our downstream Juice business to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deliveries of our bottled juices to our customers and partners, managing shipments, and handling customer inquiries in an international environment. This role requires proficiency in using ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Process orders in the ERP (JD Edwards) based on stock availability and delivery plan
- Customer Communication: Answer general phone calls and emails in an international environment, providing excellent customer service.
- Shipment Preparation: Prepare and create shipments in the ERP for external cold stores, including the required shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with shipping, customer, and transportation requirements.
- Handling and monitoring shipments in containers / trucks in compliance with contractual requirements/conditions. Scope includes containers for Export /import and inland truck movements .
- Coordinating with Freight forwarders / truck transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Customer Centricity: Respond to day-to-day questions on deliveries, availability, and lead times.
- Invoicing: Invoice delivered goods to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
- Purchase Order Processing: Process purchase orders in the ERP (JD Edwards).
- Facilitate sales confirmation in ERP(JDE) as per contract terms created by trader and necessary updates when need be .
- Insurance Coverage: Ensure insurance coverage for goods shipped against purchase orders & sales
- Declare month end intra Europe movements in the form of invoice /value declaration to tax team
- Month end Invoice- Sales/Purchase closing as requirement by accounts
- Intake Receipts: Process intake receipts from external cold stores
- Service Provider Invoices: Process invoices from service providers.
- Internal contacts: commercial team, planning team, LDC juice terminal, other LDC colleagues all over the globe
- External contacts: Cold stores, suppliers, customers, shipping lines
Experience
| Experience |
Knowledge and experience:
- Diploma: minimum bachelor degree in supply chain and logistics, or economics
- Language: English plus another foreign language preferably French
- Computer skills: ERP, JD EDWARDS, proficiency in MS Office suite
- Experience in supply chain and logistics (refrigerated storage & transport)
- Knowledge if shipping documentation and requirements
- Knowledge in production planning
