Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing of the team’s Final Freight Invoice before sending out to Counterpart
  • Generate periodic reports through Dashboards & IMOS to share with the team and monitor progress
  • Oversee the Bank balance and to work closely with Controllers & FX team to maintain adequate funds in our Account
  • In-Charge of daily Cashlog, Monthly Cashflow & to perform daily Bank reconciliation against Trial Balance as well
  • Oversee Broker’s SOA
  • Oversee Bunker mass settlement
  • Involve and handle daily operations of Vessels (Exécution work responsibilities)
  • Assist to monitor Team’s file closing status
  • Assist in providing documentation to the reporting division to support annual audit across the entire platform
  • Assist in creating and improving reports, processes and systems

Experiences:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience within the shipping industry experience
  • Essential to have prior vessel and voyage accounting experience
  • Experience working within a commodity trading environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and IMOS accounting software preferred

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc):

  • Strong practical accounting knowledge and skills
  • Strong attention to detail, including precise accuracy of data entry
  • Detailed follow-through abilities and strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Languages:

  • English (Fluent)

Academics:

  •  Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
