Louis Dreyfus Company are seeking the services of a suitably qualified Site Coordinator (Weighbridge) based in Kununurra, Western Australia.  The Site Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of weighbridge operations and administration of selected tasks providing the necessary assistance to the Site Manager. In addition, the Site Coordinator will be responsible for site related SHE administrative duties and supporting site management in the delivery of applicable HR related initiatives.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Maintain and supervise Traffic control to weighbridge
  • Operate Weighbridge Auto System Interface (WASI software) for commodity receival
  • Maintain accuracy of data entry to ensure Grower Data Integrity with attention to correct allocations
  • All other duties as per Weighbridge Manual
  • Provide point of contact for general information or escalation of matters to Site Manager
  • Provide Induction of team members when required
  • Audit modules yard and ensure module location integrity
  • Operate appropriate machinery to assist with loading or movement of cotton bales (where applicable and trained or licensed to do so)
  • Maintain group communication channel and issue communications as directed by the Site Manager
  • Manage any other documentation and filing as required
  • Facilitation of routine accommodation inspections, where required
  • Provide first point of contact for all persons arriving on site
  • Support the Site Manager, SHE Business Partner & operations with site safety management
  • Assist with International Workers onsite including coordination of startup requirements and orientation to site
  • Assist as requested with recruitment administration such as arranging of interviews for Site Manager, validation of application and support once season commences

Experiences:

  • You will have great customer service and administration experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Possess a broad knowledge of computer programs including the Microsoft Suite 
  • Have attention to detail and be able to thrive under pressure during ginning
  • Willingness to learn and be open to give anything a go and have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Organised and methodical process to managing daily tasks
  • Grain Storage & Handling and/or Warehouse operation experience or the ability to learn
  • Adequate understanding of chain of responsibility obligations
  • Forklift (Advantage), Front End Loader (Advantage), Confined space (Advantage), Open manual license (Advantage), Elevated work platform (Advantage)
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
