• Digitalize LDC Processes and organizations
• Help LDC to rotate to Finance best practices and best tools
The FPSO team is an international team of experienced resources with strong knowledge in their domains. They act as the keepers of the Group practices and solutions. They coordinate the different on-going projects in the LDC world for their respective scope.

The FPSO team is looking for FPSO Senior Specialist for Controlling and Middle Office processes, who will support the implementation of internal Atlas V2 system as it relates to Controlling in the context of Brazil Digital modernization Program. This person will collaborate with the SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to identify, develop, and implement best and leading core business processes in order to drive business transformation.
The typical activities for Senior Specialist, FPSO Controlling supporting the current Finance Transformation group program, are:
Design and Build
• Ensure the consistency of the Atlas core model and the maximum re-usage of the existing system architecture and features to cover new requirements, in coordination with the rest of FPSO team.
• Review and approve the functional specifications and make sure all cases are covered and properly documented.
• Maintain ATLAS “Core Model” and supervise the documentation of the gaps between local requirements and the core model while assigning regional priorities.
• Validate the tests done by regional BAs.
Deployment
• Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.
• Act as a team member supporting a change initiative by providing analysis or monitoring progress with guidance from a project/program manager.
• Manage master data during the project roll out phase in addition to ATLAS governance and documentation of platform requirements for position and PnL analysis.
• Participate in data migration validation and validate the data migration approach in case of deviation from the standard methodology.
• Support Regional Business Analysts on system testing and cut-over activities.
• Liaise with the Regional Team to prepare and participate in project progress meetings.
• Ongoing monitoring of the quality of implementation.
• Update Regional stakeholders on the status of project implementation from a functional point of view.
• Monitors the project KPI’ by helping the function to perform a root causes analysis and define action plans.
• Organize the communication for Controlling teams.
Processes
• Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager.
• Identify, formalize and deploy best practices in terms of Controlling process and Atlas usage.
• Conduct the training of the key users and BAs on the functional usage of ATLAS and best practices.
• Propose new methodology / changes of process / Excel spreadsheets in order to improve the quality and the timeliness of the financial data coming from Atlas
Support
• Coordinate prioritization.
• Validate the NRT tests done on new releases.
• Understand, report and work alongside the BA/support to correct issues with the system’s behavior.
• Conduct the training of the key users and BAs on the changes made on the ATLAS core model in ATLAS.
Experience
Experience |
- 3+ years of experience in Controllership in a commodity trading company is a must.
- Experience in working in project mode and ability to perform in various roles from individual contributor to a leadership role;
- Project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)
- Fundamental understanding of core accounting and finance processes is required.
- Strong ability to gather & analyze information, define problems and form a plan of action.
- Evident ability to analyze and challenge workflows, being analytical and synthetic.
- Exceptional organizational ability with a very strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently and take ownership of this role.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other business organizations; successful experience in working with diverse groups of people in a problem-solving environment.
