EMEA Treasury department is looking to strengthen the Treasury Competence Center in Sofia (5 persons) supporting the activities managed in Geneva (5 persons) and in Lyon (5 persons).

The EMEA Treasury team includes 3 different sub-departments, with:

  • Operations: Cash management and back office

This department covers the needs for more than 50 companies, split among 10 different countries. The team is managing more than 350 bank accounts, opened with 50 international banks, as well as the funding of the Group’s main trading hub’s transactions, through both short-term bilateral and long term syndicated facilities.

  • Financing, reporting and projects

In charge of (i) bank relationship, funding and administrative aspects of the bank relationship, as well as (ii) following-up treasury activities in the countries and the associated reporting, and (iii) project management on all treasury and system related projects

  • Trade Finance

Managing vanilla products (LC’s, Guaranteed, Avalized drafts, etc), as well as trade related financing. This team also covers working capital reduction related projects, and single buyers insurance.

This position opening will support the operations scope and work alongside 5 persons locally.

 

Under the supervision of the Cash management and Back Office Manager, the person will support back office activities for EMEA region:

  • Daily bank reconciliation, investigation of unreconciled flows, fix system errors for the allocation of different transactions
  • Daily investigation and correction of discrepancies impacting the bank account balances in the systems
  • Guarantee proper utilization of bank accounts, prevent and follow up AML and fraudulent payments
  • Monitoring of bank fees
  • Monthly upload of bank statements out of Quantum scope in the system
  • Monthly closing of accounts, interests calculation, manual adjustments bookings
  • Managing e-banking accesses, corporate cards, direct debits and ensure proper follow-up of treasury policies and compliance with internal controls.
  • Administration of treasury tools (Software: SUNGARD - Quantum/Trax)

Experience

  • First Experience in a Finance position in an international Group, preferably in Treasury functions or Accounting environment.

Languages
