Market Risk & Processes Analyst

Reported to the Market Risk Manager for coffee and sugar and the Risk Processes Manager for all the platforms/functions, you will:

• Be in charge of producing, analyzing, reporting, and improving positions, risk metrics, and PnL analysis
• Be a leading role in designing, implementing, and automating the risk reports and processes, with emphasis on process and tool improvement
• Work on the re-architecting of the processes for Risks, emphasizing automation and analytics

Main Responsibilities:

• From a market point of view:
  • Collaborate closely with platforms and middle office to understand position and price movements
  • Support risk manager in building key market risk indicators
  • Is interested and willing to learn/understand market movements and its drivers while staying updated about relevant markets and news
• From a process improvement standpoint:
  • Work closely with the risk process to improve practices
  • Envisions and creates analytics to support risk analysis and reporting, including data visualization and dashboards
  • Design and implement improvements to the functionality of the Risk systems, providing analysis tools and reporting
  • Assist with the automation of data integration and reporting tasks

Your profile:

• University degree in Business administration/Accounting/Finance 
• 5+ years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of agri- commodities
• Proven track record on project implementation
• Programming ability in Excel and PowerBI
• Experience in coding Excel Macros and PowerBi/Analyze in Excel; SAS is a plus
• Being able to lead system improvement projects from the analysis to the execution
• Being able to interact with different internal counterparties and offices
• Be willing to learn Market Risk methodologies and expand their knowledge on the subject matters
• You are a proactive person, with an analytical mind, with good communications skills
• You have solid skills at negotiating solutions, and you enjoy driving improvement 
• Fluent English
