Overall Purpose and Objective of Position

This team member is part of a dynamic team, contributing to commercial activities through the Juice Platform business plan in North America. This role is to perform Customer Service and Logistics Execution activities to help strengthen LDC’s business relationships by providing outstanding customer service and logistics support.

**This position requires being in the Orlando office four (4) days a week.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Ensures data entry accuracy, verifies information, generates invoices, and updates policies.
  • Verifies customer activity and tracks customer data entry and performance.
  • Performs general office tasks, including taking phone messages and assisting customers with purchase order information.
  • Enters warehouse production orders to fulfill minimum/maximum inventory requirements.
  • Applies communication skills to answer telephones, prepare business correspondences and respond to internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by ensuring speedy, substantive responses to customer inquiries, including order status, general product, billing inquiries, technical problem notifications, program information, and creatively resolving emergent problems.
  • Monitors customer inquiries, pricing, availability of products, and work order status, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Build trust and communicate effectively with customers, transportation carriers/forwarders, facility operations teams and co-workers locally or abroad.
  • Execute contracts according to the commercial teams’ instructions and trade confirmations, updating weekly loading/unloading schedule.
  • Update executed contracts’ controls on ERP system (SAP), confirming all information is accurate and correctly provided to the related parties (Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance).
  • Properly store and classify documentation according to office and company policies utilizing web-based tools such as SharePoint.
  • Assist in the formulation/update of logistics costs for domestic carriers and international shipments.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with developing supply chain operation procedures to optimize internal or external customer satisfaction. Support business KPIs including, delivering on sales targets, on time shipment delivery and pickup, freight costs, and storage optimization.
  • Be proactive in identifying issues with steamship lines and/or carriers that may arise to avoid unnecessary costs to LDC or its customers.
  • Monitor the supply and demand of our drum & case goods inventory, placing orders with our production partners to optimize the inventory levels at each physical location.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective and ethical relationships with customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Correspond in a timely manner with all internal and external customer requests.
  • Support month end processing functions as needed, which could include pulling audit information for our internal accounting team.
  • Registering new clients, vendors, as needed with the assistance of our internal team. Ensuring our internal team has all the supporting documentation according to company requirements.
  • Assist in optimizing and prioritizing related processes to improve procedures and reduce costs.
  • Coordination of documents and communication between all parties for inbound or outbound shipments.
  • Prepare a standard operating procedure or SOP for each account, and update SOPs as needed.

Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma and valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other business discipline.

Experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum: 2 years of experience in an office work environment and sales.
  • Minimum: 2 years of proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word, with the ability to learn company software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum: 4 years of experience in office work environment and sales.
  • Minimum: 4 years of proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Juice industry experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including basic knowledge of statistics.
  • Ability to organize multiple responsibilities, prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP software.
  • Experience in the beverage/juice industry.
  • SharePoint knowledge or experience preferred
