Description of Team and Role

Master data maintenance at LDC is a global initiative based in Sofia. We have expanded our portfolio and volumes in 2020-2023 and have identified data quality as one of our Key success Indicators to ensure efficient processes and mitigate risks related to poor data quality.

Master Data in the Group has been growing over the years and is more and more the corner stone of our digitalization projects.

We want a Data Professional who is passionate about ensuring a high level of data accuracy & integrity across multiple systems (front office, back office, MDM tool, other partner apps).

It is an exciting new role for a candidate who enjoys complexity, constant learning and interaction with multiple stakeholders and is keen to apply statistical/ analytical methods to manipulate large data sets.

Project tasks:

Data quality Monitoring & Reporting

  • Regular follow-up of data quality KPI’s and identification of cleansing priorities
  • Prepare and present regular progress on KPIs and data cleansing activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement on analytical tools to generate insight into data quality issues

Data Quality Issues Remediation

  • Analyse data quality issues, identify their root cause and propose remediation solutions
  • Process and cleanse identified data quality issues by collaborating with various stakeholders (finance, business, IT, credit risk)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to remediate data quality issues (e.g. define controls to avoid duplicate record creation)

Support Projects and other initiatives

  • Support of ERP deployments
  • Ad hoc projects related to continuous improvement

Help Set up Masterdata (data input)

  • Rare occurrence, only in critical circumstances the candidate is expected to lend a hand to the Master Data Run Team

 

     

    Qualifications:

    Education required: 

    • University Degree in any discipline, but preferably in mathematics/ statistics/ IT;
    • Candidate must exhibit a strong inclination towards this domain, even if degree is in another field

    Number of years of experience required :

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance projects and Big data analysis
    • Preferably in a role involving hands-on data analysis using IT tools

    Technical skills/knowledge (if required):

    • Skills in data analysis, pattern identification and correlation
    • Hands on and curious in using tools such as Power BI, Power query and Databases (any statistical tools will be a plus), excel and MS Office
    • Hands-on experience in analyzing, reconciling, cleansing and manipulating large amounts of data
    • Excellent Excel and Presentation skills
    • Ability to present complex data in a summarized, visual way

    Language ability :

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (ability to engage)

    Traveling:

    Limited/ Project based
