This position is that of a Corporate Communications Intern to work with the Corporate Communications manager on various communications projects and initiatives. Plenty of hands-on work with intranet writing and management, social media, photo repository, project organization and interacting with various departments in the company.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Main responsibilities:
- Assist in developing corporate communications materials
- Recommend social media posts and interact with social media team on the global level
- Draft company intranet articles and obtain necessary approvals for publishing
- Assist with tradeshow preparations and work
- Recommend intranet updates and content
- Assist with organization and clean-up of corporate photo repository
Role requirements:
- A genuine desire to work in a corporate communications environment
- Capacity to work independently within defined experimental frame
- Excellent hands-on skills and proven problem-solving mindset
- Great capacity to learn quickly and perform in a corporate, matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively as an individual and collaborate as part of a team
- Demonstrated communication skills to provide feedback for continuous process improvement purposes

Basic qualification:
- Pursing bachelor’s degree in communications, media relations, English or similar

- Hands on experience in an office preferred but not required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong organization abilities.
- Excellent attendance.
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- Strong documentation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict monthly deadlines.
- Proactively approaches job duties and potential problems.
