The Grains and Oilseeds (G&O) Platform is the longest standing business in LDC. The Platform have an international presence in the world’s major producing and consuming regions and originate, handle, store, transform and merchandize products across the spectrum of Grains and Oilseeds products. This role reports to SBM & Corn Commercial Manager, Southeast Asia.

Main Responsibilities

  • As a member of the trading team, take ownership of the following tasks flows/processes:
    • New trade confirmation & data entry in front office system and trade recap database
    • Confirmation & data adjustments in system/database for any change in terms of the existing book
    • Futures / FX pricing confirmation, data entry, and, if required, hedging
    • Position and front office data reconciliation with stakeholders (FP&A, TAC etc)
  • Assist trading team with P&L estimates preparation & reconciliation with FP&A numbers
  • Ad hoc business studies preparation & information collection
  • Participate to desk activity data management including improvement of existing processes / automatization

Experience

  • At least 2-5 years of experiences in similar role(s), preferably in agribusiness or related industry (commodities, feed, flour, shipping, etc) in Southeast Asia

Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability, and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and to prioritize.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and to take initiative, proactive attitude toward problems
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere. Flexibility on working time.
  • Rigor and accuracy when handling data. Excellent handling of Excel
  • Coding skills a plus

Languages

  • English (Fluent)

Academics

  •  Degree in Business / Accounting / Economics / Agriculture / Logistics / Trade or related field of study
