Mon - Fri (9.00 am - 6.00 pm)

This role provide key support of all aspects of Downstream coffee functions. The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in a challenging and fast-paced soft commodities environment. The role will report to Instant Coffee Commercial Manager-Asia and will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 

SCOPE OF WORK:

In general, execute activities related to Downstream coffee's products and services, including both pre-sales and post-sales tasks to deliver finished products to final consumers efficiently: 

 

  • Involved in the handling orders & transactions with oversight and coordination of execution until fulfilment including but not limited to contracts, inventory management, quality-control coordination... Ensure timely data update on the relevant systems.  

  • Coordinate and oversee end-to-end logistics operations, from procurement to finished-product delivery. Organising and manage relationships with subcontractors (suppliers, OEM service providers…) to ensure smooth and timely services.  

  • Keep track of client database and capture relevant information, maintain updated data of customers, liaise with Sales & Marketing team.  

  • Analyse and update international trade regulations (tariffs, FTAs, import/export barriers...) to provide Sales & Marketing team with timely, accurate and sufficient information for business development.  

  • Keep close collaboration with suppliers, customers as well as internal (local and global) teams to ensure efficiency of information workflow; perform supply chain functions in a way that meets the wants and needs of final consumers efficiently. Analyse data for process improvement. 

  • Act as a commercial document analyst, to evaluate, consult (Legal, line Manager...) and get contract terms aligned with Group’s terms and conditions as well as get and/or propose customizations/updates when needed. 

  • Assist business activities as required by Downstream coffee department. 

Experience 

  • Minimum three years of experience working in commercial operations and/or trade administration.  

  • Instant coffee and B2B business (at least food & beverage industry knowledge) is a strong advantage. 

  • Experience in food ingredients industry is a plus. 

Technical/ Functional skills: 

  • Strong Customer Management skills, good communication, able to create trust and rapport with customers/suppliers. 

  • Knowledge of supply chain workflow. 

  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, notably Asia-Pacific market, is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of common business software tools (Microsoft office…) is a must. 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Methodical and quantitative approach to data analysis. Good analytical skill.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Teamwork; able to communicate effectively with internal (local and global) teams to ensure work efficiency.  

  • Ability to work on own initiative; result/goal focused.

  • Hard working, self-disciplined and diligent.

Academics  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Data, International Business, or related fields  

Languages  

  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
