About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team at our Emerald site. This is a full-time position requiring a person who is mechanically minded.

The Procurement Coordinator key purpose is to assist the Gin Site Manager with stock and parts procurement, inventory management, inventory stock-takes, auditing and other duties associated with site management. The duties will mainly be administrative based with high levels of reporting, monitoring and follow up. 

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Audit and review discrepancies with inventory reporting
  • Distribution
  • Stock monitoring
  • Ordering/procuring parts and services (including price monitoring)
  • Coordinating parts and materials to work orders and requests
  • Inventory reconciliations
  • Maintain the physical appearance of the premises and areas under their control to the satisfaction of site management.
  • Reporting of utility usage (electricity, water, fuel and gas) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Inventory management and reporting.
  • Other reports as required
  • Carries out monthly WHS and Housekeeping Audits
  • Assists management and staff with WHS related programs.
  • Assistance with employee rosters
  • Adhoc duties as required
  • Adhere to all policy changes as they occur from time to time
  • From time to time, travel to other LDC assets to support as required.
  • Assist in the plant where and when needed.

Essential:

  • Prior experience working in a production/industrial environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Robust reporting experience with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Working within a strict safe work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs

Desired:

  • Forklift Licence and Loader competency certificate
  • Prior experience in inventory reconciliations
  • Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge
  • Machine Operation
  • Leadership abilities
