The Position is responsible for the day-to-day activity of the Taxation function. The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate and partner with various functional & branch offices to achieve the company goals, responsible for the Indirect & Direct taxes.
Indirect Taxation:
• Coordination & front ending with department/ Auditors/ Consultant for various operation issues like VAT/TDS/ GST etc. Coordination with Department/ Auditors/ Consultant for timely submission.
• Advisory and compliance as per Indirect Tax law viz Service Tax, VAT, CST, GST.
• Well versed in the GST law and rules and having command on drafting the submission.
• Sale/service agreement review.
• Handling of show cause notices, filing of appeal before tax authorities with coordination of consultant.
• Regular updates with changes in VAT, GST, and other allied law.
• Ensure compliance with all kinds of Local Tax to be paid i.e., professional tax etc.
• Interaction & liaising with officials of service tax and state VAT authority.
Direct & International Taxation:
• Working Exposure to both Direct Taxes (Corporate Tax Returns, TDS, Transfer Pricing)
• Ensuring and advising on applicability of Tax deduction on domestic transactions and foreign transactions under Income Tax Act & Double Tax Avoidance Agreement.
• Evaluating the notices/order/submission/draft agreement for Tax compliance and applicability of Taxes provision.
• Transfer pricing – Working knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, maintenance of records and assessment.

  • CA or MBA (Finance)
  • Ensure operational systems improvement and identify areas of constraint.
  • Coordinate & develop good relationships with external tax and legal advisors.
