About the role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Ginner to join our team at the Goondiwindi, QLD site. This full-time role is responsible for leading the shift and ensuring the efficient, effective, and safe operation of all areas within the ginning process.
As the Ginner, you will oversee and manage all production activities within your control, ensuring that each task is carried out consistently and in accordance with established training and procedures. A key part of your role is to maintain a strong commitment to safety, ensuring all operations meet state and federal compliance requirements while supporting a high-performing production environment.
Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Lead your shift to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient ginning operations
- Oversee all production areas, ensuring tasks are performed according to training and established procedures
- Monitor and maintain safe operating practices in line with regulatory guidelines
- Identify and escalate any operational issues or safety risks
- Contribute to a culture focused on teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement

Essential skills and experience:
- Background in, Mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic, fitter, welding, or fabrication
- Previous experience in ginning, agriculture, or industrial operations (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- A commitment to safe work practices and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical, and team-based environment
