Industry supervisor provides operational excellence and product quality by implementing and controlling best practices and procedures related to weight, quality, and silo/warehouse operations. This role serves as a key link between operational and commercial teams, applying standardized methodologies to drive efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement across all relevant processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Related with port operations:
- Responsibility for the Weight and Quality received/stored/shipped at the asset.
- Supervise reception, weighing, and dispatch of goods.
- Supervise the process for receiving, weighing, conditioning, and storing of goods.
- Coordination between operational and commercial teams/areas.
- Supevising operation of complex equipment and machines adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity.
- Generating solutions to simplify and remove recurring inefficiencies.
- Troubleshoot basic technical and/or operational/quality problems by applying previously defined solutions.
- Help management to implement quality assurance/quality control change initiatives and/or make continuous operational improvements.
Related with inland inspections:
- Preliminary assessment of enterprises in terms of quality and quantity that send or receive goods by requesting for documentation confirming the capabilities and competence of the company.
- Ensuring compliance with completion of standard templates.
- Processing and confirmation of request from the commercial team for quality control during the inland inspection (shipment).
- Communication with survey companies.
- Nomination of approved survey companies to perform quality control during inland shipment of wagons/trucks.
- Communication during shipment process in case of quality/quantity deviations, making a decision on rejecting or accepting such cargo.
- Data analytics and process automation to improve process efficiency and competitiveness: checking, comparing and analyzing data from inspections point and destination point, assessment of the cost and quality of survey services.

- Professional experience (minimum 2 years) in operational excellence, quality control, or warehouse/silo operations.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excel proficiency and ability to adapt to new IT systems (prerequisite)
Education:
- Higher education/Bachelor’s or Master`s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Quality Management, or a related field is required.
Languages:
- Romanian – native
- English – upper-intermediate
Other skills and competencies:
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and to take initiatives
- Very good attention to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Accepting or rejecting goods that do not meet establish/contractual parameters.
