Assist in ensuring compliance with current and upcoming renewable fuel regulations, including the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), various Low Carbon Fuel Programs (LCFS), and the Canadian Clean Fuels Regulations (CFR)
• Assist with all aspects of Renewable Identification Number (RIN) and biofuels reporting activities in accordance with company and governmental requirements, to include quarterly/yearly US EPA RFS reporting.
• Prepare and submits required RFS, LCFS, and CFR compliance reports.
• Report and maintain documentation of evolving LCFS programs and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate internally among departments to ensure needs of crediting programs are being met. This includes tracking construction progress for new facilities, identifying and tracking process changes at existing facilities, and coordinating between departments to gather various information.
• Perform reviews of processes, procedures, and regulatory reports to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and guidance.
• Act as a liaison for auditors (internal audit, external audit, EPA, state, annual RFS attestation, QAP, LCFS) during attest engagements
• Gain and maintain knowledge regarding state, federal, and international renewable and low carbon fuels programs.
• Participate in the improvement of existing tools and/or development of new tools and automation for renewable transportation fuels regulatory reporting.

The following are the basic qualifications:
• A bachelor's level college degree or equivalent in engineering, science, technology, business, statistics, mathematics, environmental policy, economics, or financial auditing.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting related to the production and sales of renewable transportation fuels such as ethanol, biodiesel or renewable diesel.
Experience
The following are the basic qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RFS, LCFS or CFR compliance experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
The following are all required:
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and propose solutions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict daily deadlines.
• Extremely thorough and detail oriented.
