- Manage origination and sales of Oilseeds (Rapeseed and Soybean) and meals, optimizing volumes and expanding cash footprints.
- Strategically manage origination for cash futures arbitrage.
- Develop and manage thruput business for respective commodities.
- Foster strong relationships with brokers, agents, and suppliers.
- Generate key market insights and Supply and Demand (SnD) analysis for both internal and customer markets.
- Coordinate and execute comprehensive operational management for both proprietary and throughput volumes.
- Trading and Merchandising of Oilseeds and Oil Meal
- Offer analytical support to Oilseeds and Oil-meal trader for the development and real-time maintenance of Supply and Demand (S&D) insights in the relevant market.
- Expansion of suppliers database for oilseeds and meals.
- Actively contribute to the development of trading and strategies and risk mitigation.
- Develop model to and assists to determine best origin options for Oilseeds and Oil-meals the region basis defined trading strategy.
- Originate Rapeseed/Soybean/Oil-meals for Prop trading and Cash-Futures arbitrage business models.
- Implement marketing strategies and develop a throughput business model for respective oilseeds and oil-meals
- Manage the origination and disposal of oilseeds and oilmeals in the cash market and participate actively in location-based arbitrage in oilseeds and oil-meals.
- Ensures Contract performance/AR/AP with strong controls and follow ups .
- Tracking and reporting Market prices/trends/ competition activities and oilseeds and oil-meal spectrum.
- Ensuring LDCI’s compliance with all applicable local laws related to origination and trading with zero deviation.
- Working withing LDCI’s SOP’s and adhere controls and procedures as advised by the company time to time.
Experience

- MBA, master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree (master’s is preferred) in agribusiness, marketing, agricultural economics, logistics, or agronomy is required.
Additional Information

- 7-8 relevant years.
- Grain marketing specialists can work for large grain companies, smaller elevators and cooperatives, commodity marketers, or agricultural risk management programs.
- Any additional knowledge in wheat, corn, pulses trading shall be preferred.
- Good listing skills - patience to resolve interdepartmental conflicts.
- Strong relationships and network with the main sources and counterparties across the entire Grains value chain across India.
- Understanding of physical processing of Grains.
- Understanding of exports and exposure to international markets is an added advantage.
- Proven Track record with a strong understanding of risk management.
- Growth mindset with prior experience in Trading preferred.
