As a Regional FPSO Analyst, you will be a part of the Regional FPSO Team and you will interact closely with the Global, Regional, and Local teams. You are required to collaborate closely and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders such as Regional FPSO Senior Analyst within the SSEA region, FPSO team across the globe, Regional Controlling team, Systems BPOs, Accounting team, Execution team, IT team who may be stationed across different countries.

Reporting to Regional FPSO Manager, this role will drive business transformations by developing and improving core business processes/structures and facilitate the implementation of new systems/processes/requirements with minimal business impact. You will need to ensure that the systems meet business requirements, controls, and compliance; that users are well-trained and use the systems correctly; and that support is delivered in a proactive and efficient manner.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Act as a Regional Finance Coordinator on systems/projects roll-outs:

  • Act as the key point of contact to coordinate and engage key Finance members, organize meetings, and facilitate discussions
  • Provide business support by working with Controlling and Accounting teams with accurate understanding of business requirements, and provide workable solutions
  • Co-lead change management, highlight blocking issues, and ensure prompt resolution
  • Participate in the end-to-end finance systems/projects implementation (including hypercare) and collaborate closely, work efficiently with the cross-functional Global/Regional/Local teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Monitor projects and co-present projects’ status and metrics to the regional management and stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively if there is any changes in the systems implementation (before and after) to the Finance users to mitigate any downstream impact to the business operations

Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Systems & Finance Processes:

  • Be a functional expert in finance systems/processes and have a good understanding on the interconnected systems workflow from Front-office to Back-office
  • Collaborate with business and discover new opportunities for Power BI, RPA or related automations development
  • Propose/Champion/Participate/Collaborate with colleagues in other Departments in business process improvement initiatives or regional projects to align/streamline processes in line with LDC’s FPSO Principles
  • Work with operational teams to define systems/operational requirements for new business requirements/initiatives/acquisitions
  • Facilitate the review for both front-office and back-office business systems/processes tickets
  • Optimize, improve, and streamline business processes to ensure that we meet proper control and process compliance

Support country deployments for both front-office and back-office applications:

  • Translate local requirements, identify gaps, align, and integrate into the end-to-end global applications following core/group global standard model
  • Validate approach on systems testing and develop jointly with team members on detailed test plan

User Support and Training:

  • Engage with the key users and schedule training for them
  • Gather any useful updates/training feedback for functional evaluation

Post-implementation Monitoring / Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and track projects KPIs to ensure deliverables are met
  • Provide regular projects’ updates to the respective team

Experiences:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant working experiences in finance processes/systems implementation
  • Proven experience in operational project management
  • Working knowledge of Financial Markets, in particular Commodity and Foreign Exchange Markets
  • Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Experience in systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, trading systems, payment system – FIS TRAX, Cash Management system – Quantum, etc) is a plus
  • Experience in financial consolidation/reporting is a plus
  • Knowledge of key Finance Processes/Systems and best practices are mandatory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a huge volume of requests
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and propose solutions
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings
  • Flexibility on working hours during projects implementation

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with BI tools for analytics

Other Soft-skills:

  • Good business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Ability to identify/control weaknesses and implement process improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
  • Independent self-starter who takes initiative, and has a proactive attitude toward problems and issues
  • Deliver high performance under tight deadline in a high-pressure environment 

Languages:

  • English (Fluent)

Academics:
