Reporting to the FP&A Global Business & Planning Manager at LDC, the FP&A Business & Planning Analyst holds a key role in the preparation, the consolidation, and the analysis of the financial business forecasts.
The role will also embrace acting as a Business Partner to the Senior Management for any matter pertaining to financial performance analysis and planning.
Together with the rest of the team, the goal of the position is to provide reliable data & analysis to the Senior Management of LDC.
The main responsibilities of the position are:
- Landing process :
- Produce & consolidate the analysis relating to the Landing process (i.e., manage the recurring update process of the year-end forecast for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow items)
- Understand the ongoing performance of our businesses & Provide related FP&A slides and analysis for instances such as Board and Management meetings.
- As a central team member, provide support to local & business teams in fulfilling the reporting tasks (templates preparation, process communication, Finance system support)
Budget & Business Plan process :
- Project Management : Take part in the global process design & communication (timeline, roles & responsibilities, structural changes…), including the systems impacts (system management, referential updates, templates creation…)
- Be in charge of preparing, disseminating & consolidating the Budget & Business Plan materials (investment plan, Financial Excel models, Finance system & add-in reports, PPT)
- Understand the forecasted performance of our businesses & Provide the related FP&A slides and analysis for instances such as Board and Management meetings.
- Given the direct connection to LDC’s Management, this position is also made up of numerous ad hoc requests & analysis that can take up to 25% of time allocated.
Experience
Experience |
- Master’s degree in Finance
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a corporate finance function (FP&A, controlling), ideally as a Business Controller, in a large, diverse, and multicultural company.
- An experience in a commodity industry is an advantage.
Technical & Functional skills :
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong Finance analytical skills
- Excellent practice of Excel
- Curiosity for all Finance-related topics
- Appetite for working on Finance IT tools (ERP, add-in reports, BI…)
- Fluent written and verbal English skills
Soft skills :
- We need someone meticulous, rigorous, and accurate.
- We imagine you proactive, energetic, and highly motivated.
- We count on solid interpersonal skills and a strong ability to efficiently communicate.
