We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Support professional to join our dynamic Finance team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting key financial processes that enable operational excellence.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Calculate, verify, and issue demurrage invoices across all gins
  • Prepare regular reporting on all demurrage charges raised
  • Gather and collate stakeholder feedback on demurrage charges and escalate matters as required
  • Perform accounts receivable invoicing and receipting
  • Process receipting across multiple debtor systems
  • Prepare bank reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
  • Identify, code, and allocate transactions across all bank accounts, including preparing journal entries as needed
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the broader team
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by management

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high volumes of numerical data
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with ERP or finance systems (desirable)
  • Relevant industry experience within agriculture or commodities (highly regarded)
