To support its growing needs of corporate reporting and analysis, Louis Dreyfus Company has launched a global ERP program – with SAP S4Hana solution. This ERP program is mainly Finance processes, supported by SAP Finance and Controlling module.
We are currently working on a 2 roll out projects, one in China and one in the US, plus several smaller project. In this program, LDC wants to bring automation, digitalization and use the latest tool to gain efficiency.
In this context of multi-year global ERP programs, Louis Dreyfus is searching a trainee to be part of the IT Finance team.

Main responsibilities

Job Description
In this role, you are part of the worldwide IT team managing SAP Finance solution with team members based in France, Argentina and Bulgaria.
The content of the job
You will work on 2 mains tasks:
1/ Automation of Non regression tests
In order to have a quicker time to market, we are automating some of our recurring tasks/
Non regression tests are done every week to make sure each new change in the system will not impact the existing functionalities. We are automating these tests.
In this context the finance trainee will have to:
- Understand finance processes deployed in previous SAP roll out and the tests scenarios documented by the local team
- Communicate with the team in India who is managing the automation to make sure they understand what they need to automate
- Check and review the automated test scenarios
- Report on the progress

2/ Executing tests: integration tests or non regression tests
In several phases of a project, we need to test the solution (mainly integration tests) or to make sure the new functionality is not impacting existing ones (non regression tests). In some phases of the project the amount of test could be high and need additional resources to execute it.

In this context the trainee will have to:
- Understand the process to test in SAP
- Documents the tests if not already done
- Execute the tests as per the defined steps
- Report on the progress

3/ Update core model documentation
In the past roll out, some developments were developed, or some set up done. In some cases core documentation is not aligned with the reality in the system. This documentation is key to understand and maintain the solution.
In this context the trainee will have to:
- Review and understand the subject to document: tests in the system, deep dive with key users, deep dive with other consultant, deep dive with development team …
- Update documentation
- Make sure the team lead / business owner is validating the documentation
- Report on the progress

4/ Deliver small changes
We have around 10 countries using our SAP system. In order to bring more value to users, we are delivering some changes. These changes could be linked to:
- Automation
- Digitalization
- KPIs and Dashboards.
In this context the trainee will for simple change with the support of a senior team member have to:
- Understand the requirement of the key user with the help of the BPO
- Work on possible solution to solve this request, documents this solution
- Follow the arbitration process
- Document the change (Specification in case of development, Customizing sheet... )
- Follow the delivery
- Tests the new feature
- Report on the progress

  • Master in IT, Business school or equivalent
  • Accounting knowledge (mandatory)

Experience

A first experience as an intern would be a must.

Other skills (computer skills, datascience...)

• High motivation to learn SAP
• Able to speak in English
• Good written English communication
