This position requires a person who is technically sound and have great depth of knowledge in Edible Oil technology, Process data analysis, good plant operating, process cost optimization and also possess good exposure in continuous improvement, process safety management, exposure in Project execution, CAPEX management, knowledge of Soya Value added product like Soya Lecithin.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handling of continuous refinery process, Load operation, Hydrogenation, Lecithin process.
  • Process Loss Control, Optimization of Chemicals & Utility.
  • Assist Production Manager in ERP /SAP entry on in, out, production and consumptions.
  • Lead role in technical evaluation of new project and coordination with Reginal Project Team
  • To co-ordinate with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, Boiler & Packaging department for efficient and reliable plant operation.
  • Production plan analysis and effective implementation of improvement action.
  • Lead Role in Annual Budget preparation (OPEX & CAPEX)
  • Ensure strict implementation of every process SOPs.
  • Ensure to create safe work environment in Process/Project in line with LDC Safety Policy.
  • Skill analysis of process team and training, design and follow up.
  • B tech / BE / M. Tech – Oil technology, chemical engineering, Process engineering.
  • Hands on experience in refinery process operations – Min 5 years.
  • Project implementation from feed study till execution.
  • Experience in utility management.
  • Basic experience in Boiler operations.
  • Understanding of Packaging machines and warehouse management.
  • Experience in food safety management and practices.
  • Experience in handling FSSC, RSPO, KOSHER, HALAL certification processes.
  • Skill in Process Control and Equipment like Plate Heat Exchanger, centrifugal Separator, Pumps, Pressure vessels, Valves, Pressure Leaf Filter, Vacuum systems, Chiller, High Pressure Boiler, Compressor.
  • Computer Proficiency – PLC operation of Refinery, AutoCAD, MS Office (Power Point).
