We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join the Accounts Team located at our Abbotsford Office. This role plays an integral part in supporting the Group’s financial operations, with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general financial administration. The Finance Officer will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial processes across the business.

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements
  • Manage credit card transactions and expense reimbursements
  • Assist with inter-company reconciliations and month-end reporting
  • Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams

Desired skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to take initiative
  • Customer-focused approach with experience handling internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with SAP or GrainSmart advantageous
  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Relevant industry experience within agriculture or commodities (highly regarded)

Job Description
