Main accountabilities:
- Monitor national and local policies issued by key authorities such as the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), and the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), focusing on agricultural and food industries.
- Conduct policy and regulatory analysis on agricultural production, food safety, import/export controls, trade measures, and commodity circulation.
- Support stakeholder engagement with MOFCOM, MARA-related institutions, GACC authorities, and key industry associations.
- Assist in drafting policy briefings, regulatory updates, advocacy materials, and coordinating external affairs activities.
- Track evolving trends in macroeconomic drivers, food security, sustainability, rural development, and supply chain resilience.
- Facilitate internal communication to ensure alignment and timely response to regulatory developments and business needs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to accomplish team work assignments and collective goals.
- Execute tasks assigned by CA team leader to ensure coverage and provide reliable support.

Knowledge
- Basic understanding of China’s agricultural regulatory framework, including MOFCOM trade policies, MARA agricultural governance, GACC import/export compliance, and food-related regulations.
- Awareness of Corporate Affairs functions and government–business interactions.、
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in government affairs, agricultural policy, public affairs, consulting, or industry associations.
Other skills and competencies:
- Strong policy research, analytical, and writing capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-changing policy environment.
- Good stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Strong teamwork spirit with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Policy, Agriculture, Economics, International Trade, or related disciplines.
Languages:
- Fluent in English(written and spoken)
