About the role

The Ginner is in charge of their shift and must ensure the efficient, effective and safe operation of all areas under his control. This is to be perform in a consistent way in which the ginner has been instructed, to oversee, manage and ensure all areas of the Gin production are operating safely and within state and federal guidelines.

Essential skills

  • Background in, Mechanical, Electrical, hydraulic, fitter, welding, or fabrication.
  • At least four year’s relevant experience. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on the job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
  • Working within a strict safe work environment.

Desired but not essential skills

  • Strong supervision skills in a maintenance/production environment.
  • Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Reporting.
  • Machine Operation.
  • Leadership abilities.
