Responsibilities
- Corporate prepayments, accruals, General & Administrative Expense file preparation and review, lease file preparation
- Preparation of the monthly trial balance;
- Assisting accountants with the monthly C-PACK trial balance upload (LDC Accounting consolidation file)
- Monthly validation of Corporate and Tax Balance Sheet accounts vua the Blackline online platform.
- Monthly reconciliation for Corporate, Tax and Payroll
- Group GST Preparation
- In conjunction with the Industry Team, support in the fixed asset module with understanding and validation between the accounting and tax books
- Support in treasury with bank loan rollover
- Maintenance of accounting for interest in SAP and net interest preparation for LDC’s Regional Accounting Team
- Completion of ABS Surveys
- Assist Treasury Analyst with production of daily grain position reports
Experience

Qualifications
- Preference to be undertaking or planning to undertake CPA or CA Accounting qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline
Knowledge/ Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a corporate finance or accounting team in some capacity
- Understanding of the grain industry or commodity industry is preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
